Why topics get rejected
Topics rarely fail because they are uninteresting. They fail because the variables are not measurable, the population is not reachable, the scope is too wide for one study, or the same study has been done a dozen times.
The evaluator scores those four dimensions separately so you can see which one is dragging you down instead of guessing.
Read the variables section first
If the tool cannot name a clear independent and dependent variable from your sentence, neither can your supervisor. That is the fastest signal that your topic is a theme rather than a study.
Rewrite until the sentence contains what you are changing or observing, what you are measuring, and the population and place you are measuring it in.
Test the data sources before you commit
The evaluator lists realistic data sources, including national and regional ones. Spend one afternoon confirming that at least one of them will actually give you data at the frequency and granularity you need.
A topic that depends on data you cannot obtain is a topic that will collapse three months in.
Use the rewrites as a starting point, not a final answer
The three sharper rewrites are meant to be argued with. Take the one closest to your interest, adjust the population and period to what you can reach, and run it through the tool again to confirm the scores moved.
